ON HIOLD Super Ellipse table. Cherry wood with steel span legs. The table is in two sections with the steel span legs being removable. Moving the table therefore very simple and quick to set up. The table can be used either as a dining table or a conference table.

Designed by BRUNO MATHESSON in collaboration with Piet Hein (mathematician) in the 1960's. The table series includes Super -Elliptical and the Super Circular. The most prominent member of the series. The ingenious formula based shape has no ends and this is why the Super Ellipse can be seen as a democratic table where everyone has an equal position. Bruno Mathsson is Swedens most important 20th Century designer and architect, his designs were commissioned for public buildings in New York and Europe.
