Rare HANS WEGNER 1950”s cabinet model CH-304 for CARL HANSEN & SON Denmark.
Teak with oak lined interior. Adjustable shelves and dovetailed narrow drawers fitted to interior. The drawers can be spaced in several positions. The cabinet rests on sabre oak legs supported by a brass stretcher. The cabinet is in very good original condition.
PROVENANCE: This sideboard has been owned by the same family since its purchase in Copenhagen Denmark in 1950’s and has since remained in the family home in Melbourne along with the matching table and chairs. The sideboard presents in excellent original condition. These pieces have come directly from the family to us and this is the first time they have been offered for sale since purchased in 19650’s. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a wonderful collectors piece by the great designer HANS WEGNER.
